Anyone have the chance to compare these two highly regarded phonostages? The Audia Flight is the newer kid on the block so anecdotal reports are harder to come by. Both have garnered rave reviews. Any information is welcome. Please provide some system context.

Thanks,
Bill

Haven't heard either of them, but as the extremely satisfied owner of an ASR Mini Basis Exclusive, I can only imagine that it's big brother must be a monster. Wish I had the scratch to find out.

I believe my mate "hayabusa" who posts here:

... traded in his ASR on an Audia Flight. He has a Basis TT with a Transfiguration Phoenix (I think?) cartridge. So you might like to register on SNA and send him a PM?

All I can say is ... his Audia Flight sounds pretty damn good!! :-)) He also said it was quieter than the ASR (in spite of being mains powered).

Regards,

Andy

Hi Bill, cant help with the phono stages, i am using a RCM sensor and like it. I noticed you are using the Bent Pre, i had one of these for a long time, very nice, I have moved to the new Music First MK11, its a significant step up, if you can, try one out, more extended, better integration, stunning transparency and increased dynamics
cheers
M

I'm still in the honeymoon stage with the Bent--only had it a couple of months--but I like it a lot. Did you have the autoformer version? I'm finding it remarkably transparent and dynamic, with excellent bass and soundstaging. And after a decade of using a passive without a remote (Reference Line), I'm digging the lazyman's feature:)
