Pulled it out today to give it a listen. I am very familiar with this because I saw the movie a million times in 7th grade and I've plpayed the hell out of the soundtrack, which remains one of my all-time favorites. I am always surprised at how good the recording is and Cab Calloway's fantastic "Minnie the Moocher" and the band behind John Belushi and Dan Akroyd in "Sweet Home Chicago" is just amazingly tight. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor and get hold of a clean 1980 vintage copy and take a listen. It's as much fun as the movie. |

I also recommend their original album "Briefcase Full Of Blues" from 1978. Great band! |
