Hi, I've pretty much finished rebuilding a Fisher X-100-A integrated amp and it sounds great. During the rebuild I took capacitor C4 out of the circuit, thinking it was only for noise reduction. Looking into it a bit, it looks like it might be potentially dangerous to remove this cap. Is it essential for safety reasons? Would I be better off removing it and installing a modern day 3-prong plug with a proper ground? I just want to make sure this thing is safe to use. Thanks. Bill |
I may be confusing this with the "death" cap which I don't think this is...nt, posted on December 27, 2016 at 19:49:51 | |
