![]() I thought you vintage guys would appreciate this -- My Tivoli Model Three has a broken power socket, so as a bedside backup, I'm using my KLH Model Twenty One FM radio, circa 1968, that sat in my parents' kitchen for decades, and a Swiss-made Looping alarm clock with a 15-jewel 8-day movement, circa 1960, also from my parents. Both work perfectly. Funny how many things used to be built to last, but not so much any more. |
