I'm a tube guy and don't know a lot about SS stuff. I just bought a Pioneer receiver to play with. With a cd deck and speakers attached I get no output. I do know that some SS gear requires jumpers between the pre and power amps. I see what I think is a location for such a thing on the back. labeled Pre-amp out and power-amp in. I'm assuming jumpers would go there? And if so, what should I use for said jumpers? Any help would be appreciated...:)! Thanks, Walt

You do need jumpers from pre-out to amp-in, if it has those jacks. Any dual RCA/RCA cable will work... (the shorter, the better).

If that is what they are try a pair of interconnects, At least you'll know.
