An older woman called me and asked if I would be interested in some old antique Light bulbs that her husband had. I knew her husband when I was a kid..
I did not really want any old light bulbs, but I was trying to help her out. I told her that with the kids and work, I could not be there until Sat.am early because it was Halloween and I had to get my kids stuff and ready for trick or treats..
I arrived about 10am today, and she informed me that the trash collector had picked up the box of light bulbs and other stuff and hauled it away..I was kind of glad because I don't need anymore junk.. She told me that she did save me one of the cardboard flaps from one of the bulbs
It turns out that it was original tube box from a Western Electric 300B.
She had several cartons of them....

Sorry to hear that. I know several people from eastern block countries and they call vacuum tube bulbs. That seems to be the way it translates.
