![]() I have a Marantz 2325 with a power switch that was left in a half on half off position, as it was not functioning properly. During this time, it started to smoke and short. There is a tiny label on it that reads: E-41337 Uno Lab Inc, Snap switch issue J-847. I uncsrewed the switch from the chassis and snipped the orange and red wires to remove the switch. It is completely burned out. I had a different switch that someone sold me for a 2325. It was advertised as a power switch for all 22xx and 23xx models, but it is not the E-41337 power switch, but rather one of the smaller switches like for the low filter, high filter, etc. It has 4 terminals. I tried connecting the red and orange to this switch with every possible combination regarding the 4 terminals, and the unit did not power up. I also tried cutting an extension cord, and connecting the red to one wire, the orange to the other, plugged it in, but would not power up. The fuse in the back is opaque white and could not tell if it was blown, so I put a 4 amp glass fuse - trying all of the above with this glass fuse (and the white fuse) with no success. I am very passionate about my 2325. It was working perfectly, albeit for the sticking power switch. The switch took a special technique to turn it off. A member of the family was unaware of this, and left it in the wrong position so to speak. I have searched the internet for this E-41337 Snap Switch with no success. The one's on ebay now are like the switch I bought, and incorrect. Anywhere I can find a E-41337 Snap Switch like the one in these picts? Will it help or is this the end of this beautiful machine? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance, John |
