What's in a jitterbug?

I'm thinking about cooking up a diy equivalent of an aq jitterbug as a holiday thing to do.

Looking at the web pics and reading through some web comments, I would tend to think that it's some sort of an LC filter on the 5V power side, but does anyone know what they do on the data side of things? A choke, an inductor, something else?

Any idea?

Thanks.

It's a filter. The thing does change the sound but is not one of the better usb audio solutions.

Thanks.
Can you please describe further as to what kind of filter is there on the data line?
I also have a jitterbug, and I've yet to find a USB application that I like the resulting sound. I'm now using mine as a power filter for a headphone amp that takes usb power supply. That's part of the reason why I'd like to experiment with different parts and configuration to see how things would go.

I don't know what precise filters these are but like you, I have no use for it.

The thing changes the sound, but not for the better in the long run as opposed to the Regen, iFi products and so on.
