Help! Does my Pio DVD player need lubrication anywhere?

I have it apart and am VERY CAREFULLY, MINDFULLY cleaning the lens. There seems to be some grease on the rails and gears- does this need a reapplication? Its a very clean, well cared-for Elite DV-37 and it works fine. I'm just feeling like a little preventative e maintenance... I did clean the bits of ozz-fozz and unknown particles from the little platter that the disc sits on. That's a good thing!
