 If I understand properly D5 is less concentrated than D100L.

But is it just a question of the D100L being better (and more expensive) or different intended uses?

 A small amount is all you need to wet the surfaces. Working them or following up with a pipe cleaner (wetted with D5) completes the maintenance.

 FWIW Radio Shack Anti-Corrosive Lubricant Spray has DeoxIT D100L.

$5.99 for 5 oz. spary can.

I keep some on hand.

Thank you for this information(!) but when I clicked on your link, and then perused the current MSDS, it appears that the formula has changed as well as the price: now $6.59 (not $5.99) and contains Caig's MechanicAll M20S-6N (not D100L).

 Wow thats too bad. I used to be Deoxit. In fact I have some myself.

Oh well, nothing lasts forever I guess.
