My TT: Yamaha PF-800
My Phono pre: Cambridge 640P

No tweaks to either so far. On turntable will replace power cord and interconnects. No plans yet for phono stage.

Questions: Caps are testing okay on turntable, but any advantage in improving them; if so, which ones. How about bridge rect to FREDS?

Cambridge: Much advantage in improving caps in signal path, or anywhere else?

Overall, what might be worthwhile tweaks to either component?

Shovel... Thanks for the specifics and pix of your mod. As for the "vinyl engine" reference, it's probably the most carefully considered and detailed tweak discussion I've ever read. Printed a good 100 pages or so; now it's hole-punched and bound with your info. I'll enjoy getting going on this. Very much appreciated! Best... Erik
