I have a Cayin TA-30 integrated amp (w/mods by Busy Bee) and wonder if it could be tweaked to use only the power amp section?

Two goals:

1- I want to try bi-amping a pair of two way speakers (using an active crossover)and need another amp.
2 - I have a nice pre-amp and have read that the Cayin can be improved by using only the power amp section.

Anyone experienced with this amp? I have a tech in Atlanta that is good ( I will not do this work) ....is this worth the trouble?
