Best way to break in Black Gates

Can I put Black Gates on my cable cooker?

What would be a good way to thoroughly break in BG FK caps befor einstalling them in my gear? I'd rather do a pre-burn in rather than suffer the 300 hours of play.

Has anyone developed a good, simple test bench circuit for this?

Thank you.

So, do you keep your gear on 24/7?? ..., posted on November 2, 2009 at 23:15:46

Otherwise, surely, each time you turn it off, the BGs will have to "re-acclimatise"??

Regards,

Andy

For caps used for tube cathode bypass, I use a 12 VAC power supply with a series current limiting resistor of 50 ohms per cap. Say paralleling 10 caps, then use 5 ohm series resistor for all 10 caps.
