You need a professional alignment, for both FM and AM. You might as well replace the tuner tubes, before alignment. If aligned with the old tubes, another alignment will be needed, when tube replacement is essential.

It's cheap in that the same tubes are used for both FM and AM IF duty. OTOH, the filter choke in the voltage doubler B+ supply is a nice touch.

Appropriate speakers will also help. 5 WPC is about right from SE 6BQ5 "finals".

Thanks Eli D~ I just ordered all new tuner tubes . I purchased the service
manual and it has the alignment instructions in it . I'm going to find
a radio service tech in Pittsburgh that does older electronics .The
thing plays but there's some kind of problem .Don't know if you watched some of the video but during the last 4-5 min you can hear the problem
as i tune in stations .

An update on the Voice of Music 1467 receiver .OK that's 2 i have .
Don the tech said bring it over and he'll do it while I'm there .

Both were out of alignment and he fixed that and checked and replaced
some tubes . Reference numbers in the manual were wrong so which tuning
cans were for what . So for both receivers and 2and 1/2 hours later it
cost me a Benjamin .They both work well now

Congratulations on getting them aligned and running again-
Both units will benefit from a good antenna - see asylum FAQs or search in this forum for suggestions etc.

Happy Listening
