Do not blame him as the analog to digital switch for television was mandated long before he probably gave serious thought to running for the office of President. I remember seeing FCC information from the mid '90s on the conversion.

I was under the impression that analog AM and FM weren't going away at all in the US of A? HD Radio reception seems iffier than regular analog, at least for me.
