My recent favorite 5670 has been the RCA triple mica, grey plate 5670. Nice balance, and just overall pleasing to listen to. Runner up would have to be a GE Blackplate, the 5 star or JAN. I cant really tell any difference between the two. These seem to be the king of bass, would recommend these if you are trying to warm up your sound. Ratheon square getter black plate would be next. I have enjoyed listening to all of the above. Then there is the Sylvania gold pin. Liked this one the least, not as dynamic and someone cloudy compared to the above. What are your favorites?

I liked the 1950s RCA Command Series 5670 with the two supporing rods and the large D getter. Also liked the 1950s GE JG 5670 D getter. The GE having more detail and the RCA having better bass control. However, with that said I mainly listen to my WE JW 2C51's and Bendix 2C51's.

Could you describe the RCA "command"? Years, plate and mica type?
Thanks

Mine are black plate, 2 mica, and I think from 1970.
