Any comments on the relative merits of these two output tubes?

After a little more than a year with the Valve Art 350b in my tube integrated it's time to replace. I've loved the Valve Art but have read wonderful things about the 6P3S-E.

TIA!

Jim

Unable to comment on the 350b, which is a bit exotic for my ilk, but at after some reading here, I did try the 6N3s in my VTA modified ST 70. I had been experimenting with some NOS GE 6l6 short bottles, which I found to be a considerable improvement over winged c EL 34s for improved soundstage and punch. The 6N3 looks almost exactly like a Sovtec coin-base 6L6. That's where the resemblance ends. Right out of the box, these are a fine sounding tube, and are a great complement to the modified ST70 - with very good extension and a musical mid-range. IMHO they are a no-compromise choice at an unbeatable price.

Cheers,

K.
