Hello!
Can anyone pick a proper MC transformer made by Jensen transformer for the replacement of Tango MCT-999 for the attached diagram?

http://www.jensen-transformers.com/transformers/moving-coil/

Many thanks!

Unless you plan on using several different LOMC carts., pick a SUT whose turns ratio mates to the cart. being used. The majority of LOMC carts. work fine with a 1:10 turns ratio.

Jensen is a good source for SUTs. Given the favorable USD/UKP exchange rate, Sowter is another possibility.

I couldn't read the diagram.

That transformer goes 1:10, 1:20 and 1:40.

None of the Jensen transformers does that.

The JT-347-AXT will do 1:8, 1:12 and 1:24 but not at the flip of a switch like the MCT-999. (Well, it could. It would just be a more complicated switch)

Which step up ratio would you be using the most?

I use the JT-34K-DX 1:36 and love it.

My friend uses the JT-44K-DX 1:10 and is very happy.
