To whom it may concern:

Dear Bozak seller,

Just because someone else on ebay lists their Concert Grands for $10,000 or their Symphoys for $2700, does not mean that all of the sudden there is a massive increase in the value of Bozak speaker systems. Rather than using these absurd prices as a guide, consider, for example, the gorgeous pair of Symphonys that have sat on ebay for weeks at $1000, not sold. A clean pair of Symphonys is worth $500-700. A clean pair of Concert Grands is worth $600-1200...or something like that. Nothing has occurred to justify these inflated prices. Emulating the temporary insanity of another seller is not going to help you sell your stuff.

Wishful thinking prices ar OK by me. Why not with you?, posted on January 7, 2017 at 20:21:58
I do not understand why crazy prices bothers anyone.
Just 'do not buy' is the main solution.
Unless you desperately want a pair, and seeing those drives you crazy?

I guess folks waiting for the multi billionaire's son to decide on a whim he wants 'xxxx' TODAY! and clicks on the most expensive priced since those must be in the best shape..
Live and let live.

The limiting price factor on the big Bozaks is many times the shipping costs. I have owned Concert Grands for 40+ years. Never felt any need to upgrade to something "better".

They are "worth" what ever a buyer is willing to pay for them and a seller is willing to sell them for, maybe it is time to lower your price on the Symphonys.

eBay has over-inflated prices on almost everything.

How did you establish what they are worth? I checked ebay and -- as expected -- found very little activity in large Bozaks.

I've been watching Bozaks for years. I also have some friends who are Bozak nuts, for example, one person I know almost had to give away a pair of Concert Grands. Couldn't even get $600 for them. Your observation is correct. These systems aren't selling on ebay. But for some reason, people keep raising the prices. And then others follow their example. They still don't sell. It's ridiculous.

That should be self regulating. If no one buys them at the higher prices the price will come down. If however, people do buy them, that is the new price. Basic Econ 101; supply and demand.

Good point. The problem I have with it, though, is that some people have money to burn. These absurd prices may trick someone into thinking they're legitimate. They buy, and then bingo...the absurd price is the new going rate.
