Hello,
I've had my eye on some second hand Reference 3A bookshelf speakers for a while now. I've found a pair with some Vifa tweeters. When I called the guy he mentioned he does not know the type, since the speakers have been modden (painted and a new tweeter), but sound better therefore.

Does anybody recognize the type, and can give a value judgement on whether this would be a good buy or not? (esp. wrt the modifications)

Thanks!

I noticed they don't have (except in the tweeters). Don't the Da Capo's (and all the others) have holes for mounting the covers?
