AV123 X-LS bookshelf speakers... any good?

Anyone else hear, or is using these bookshelf speaks? How do they compare to JBL HLS610's or PSB Alpha B1's?

I listen to various genres across the board.

I think I paid $220, and I don't think you can go wrong.

I'm sure the tweeter is pretty inexpensive, but it's never tiring. Soft dome... that is a big plus for me! (The fact that it's not too shrill).

Bass is not quite as deep as the Dayton BR1 kit I assembled, but better defined. Overall, I would say the Onix is more refined.

Very nice cabinet considering cost, been too long since I have heard anything from the two brands you mention. If I had to bitch, I might say they're a bit "bland" - the opposite could cost you much more :^)

Getting them used I recon? What, $100ish?
