Just came upon a set of JBL L110's. The woofers need refoamed but other than that, they are in great condition. I didnt realize how valuable they were when I got them. I just need something for my shop and Id guess these are a bit too nice for that. Ive decided Im going to sell them. The question is, do I refoam them myself and then sell them, or sell them as is?

Ive never done it before, but thats never stopped me from anything. Also, if you folks might give me a idea as to what they are worth in either condition, Id appreciate it. The serial numbers are almost sequential, if that makes a difference.

If you are not going to keep 'em, allow the next owner (who will likely be knowledgable in this regard) to choose & do the neccessary restoration, especially since YOU have never done this or even know what to do. If you are going to sell them on, they will be worth More to you (greatest differance in your total invested cost & your Sold price = net $$ to You) if you do not mess with or botch 'em. You will Not get Rich either way. But if you wanted to keep 'em, Then decide if your DIY ability was worth the slight added expense for professional restoration (& do your own www Search Homework vs simply inquire on random message boards; www dot google dot com is useful, as always).

They are relatively easy to refoam. Here is a link to a 2122 refoam which is essentially the same driver sans the Aquaplas and coil
