Hey Rich,

I am wondering if you have found any degradation in sound depending on the lengths of interconnects between the Joule-Electra LA-150 and the VZN-100 monoblocks. Seeing as how I may have to go up to 2 meters in length for the cables, am I not getting the most out of the system if that is the case? Is there that much of a difference in sound between 1 meter, 1.5 meters, and 2 meters in regards to this pre-amp / amp combination?

I have customers with several meter long interconnects between the Joule preamp and power amp, as well at CES & Stereophile shows Bobby and I routinely uses 6 and 7 meter long interconnects between the LA-100 (in more recent years the LA-150) and the Joule amps without any problems.

Most interconnects are pretty consistant whether used in 1.0m or 2.0m lengths. When it comes to longer lengths (like 4m and longer), some care needs to be made on the cable used.
Happy Listening,
