It's a real place, meaning it's a brick and mortar shop, but a Google search shows several complaints about the website advertising gear that they don't actually have.

I have bought from and talked with them on the phone. Very nice to deal with. Call them and speak with a salesman. It will change your mind.

I dealt with them over the internet, trading in a Headroom headphone amp for a Burson. They gave me a good price on the Burson and a fair trade=in value on the Headroom amp. No problems at all, and I'd buy from them again.

It's a display model, which might account (in part) for the low price.

I think I know the guy who owns the store. I won't say his last name 'cause I'm not sure if it's the same guy. His first name is Vince - well, if he's even still alive (he would be about 75+ now). I worked for Vince in the early and mid '70s, doing commercial sound installations, and he was thinking about opening a hifi shop and calling it Hifi Heaven. Sue Craft (4everyoung) might have some additional info.

P.S.: I am forever indebted to Augie, who was my mentor in installations. He taught me everything I know about running wire, installing ceiling speakers, wall-mounted controls, and generally getting it done right. My first job with him was the under-construction Green Bay Southwest high school. We ran seven miles of wire in there - yes, 35 1000' spools.

:)

I live in Green Bay and have been doing business at HiFi Heaven for the past 25 plus years. In fact, I helped put the owner's kids through college :-)

A guy by the name of Jim McNally is the owner and has been ever since I started doing business there. I'm told Jim bought out Vince? years ago back when the store was still on Washington St in downtown Green Bay. Why not give them a call before calling them a scam?

I was talking to a friend this morning who told me Vince Kehl passed away in 2012 :-(

I just had a good experience with them. I ordered a turntable accessory from them on March 21. Received it on March 25. I placed the order through their website.

I traded an older preamp for a new Rogue Ares Magnum phono pre. They gave me a very fair price for the trade in and had the Rogue shipped promptly. Very professional, would do business with them again.

I've purchased several pieces of audio gear from HiFi Heaven online over the years and have always been satisfied with these purchases. I'd do business with them again without a doubt.

Cheers,
SB

Purchased from them a couple of times in the past four years. No issues whatsoever. Even called them and their staff is very friendly and informative. Recently purchased a Nuforce multichannel amp from them only a few months ago. Great prices on refurbished.
