Sent this guy a Marantz 2275 in 2013 for refurb/repair. Now, three years later, he still has it, does not respond to calls or emails or even the local BBB, which has now given this business a rating of "F." First time I have ever been ripped off in this hobby, looks like I am now screwed for the price I paid for the unit itself, plus well over $500 to him for the work he never did. Needless to say, don't get screwed like I did. Lesson learned: check people out carefully, and if at all possible, don't give your equipment to anyone not within driving distance!

Google US Postal Service mail fraud

The online complaint form is easy to fill out.

They DO follow up! I got a $75 dollar item from EBAY only after I filled out the form. Only took a few weeks for the Postal Inspectors to send a letter to the idiot.

It got the idiot's attention big time.

Postal Inspectors carry guns, and they don't take BS from idiots.

Even the cat is telling you to stay away. LOL

Sorry that happened. Isn't there a lawyer there locally you can hire? It's a relatively small amount for the big stick of a lawyer, but sometimes just a letter from a local shark may be enough.

Remember...if he loses he has to pay your legal fees.
