As coincidence would have it, I just posted on Sunday an album from their show I attended and photographed in Northern Kentucky from 2015. They were supporting their Big Bill Broonzy release. My wife, who is not big on seeing live music, really enjoyed this show.

Great shots , I had the pleasure of seeing them several times when they were The Blasters back in the mid 1980's.Don't travel too far ,traffic way more than I can tolerate now, away from the farm much anymore and since the brothers have overcome their differences they haven't played near to me.

Here's hoping they get near enough you can get to see them. I saw them in a small venue in Spokane this past year and they were fantastic. Nothing like those Blasters shows in the 80's, if we could only bottle that energy, but still a great show.

There's no tour coming near me, but I sent your video to a friend in Buffalo NY, since they're appearing there in May, 2017.

Thanks for posing that!

Damn, does this drummer look serious.

Not, "I take my drumming seriously, motherfather" serious, but more like, "I'll cut your nuts off for looking at me!" serious.

But she is awesome in performance. I've see the brothesr since and Dave several times. Some of the best shows ever.

I'll bet she is, posted on January 6, 2017 at 04:51:53

I didn't intend to disparage her drumming, I was simply commenting on the intensity of her scowl!

Hopefully they'll swing close enough to me than I can go hear them someday.
