Voices that convey....out of tune or not

Certain singers, usually males, have voices that are not "pretty" But they are still able to get the emotion across.... Neil Young Bob Dylan Willie Nelson Merle Haggard All come to mind and all are able to lift my soul, make me think, make me cry, make me dance. I cannot think of any females that have voices like that. They all sound good to me....
