Want to see what are the favorites of you Hot Tuna fans. I can't choose just one, like them all.

and their debut LP. "Splashdown" is pretty strong as is "Pair a Dice Found".
Both "Live At Sweetwater" 1 & 2 are pretty solid. Don't play too much of the rest these daze,
but there are usually a couple really good tunes scattered about on the other releases.

Haven't seen them live in about 25 years but friends that have seen them recently have
found the experience VERY satisfying.

Some real classics on this album. I like "Burgers" a lot too.

I've seen them a few times and they always put on a good show. First time was in Oct. of 71 and they had Edgar Winter as their opening act.
This is one of my favorite albums of theirs. Great live album.

I gotta agree, the first one is my favorite too. I just picked up the cd w/bonus tracks yesterday. I've seen Hot Tuna twice. Most recently was a few years ago on a double bill with Little Feat.

"double bill" must have been a long show. Last time I saw them they played for 3 hours 45 minnutes (but that was back in 1974).

Looks like the early ones are the favorites here. I also lean towards the early stuff. Thanks all.

Same here, that and Burgers are the faves. (nt), posted on June 26, 2012 at 10:50:56

Love the era, and mixture of acoustic and electric.

since I like all of them about equally, however my mood at any given moment can vary the top of the list. Their catalog needs to have a definitive box set containing many of the unreleased live shows as well as their official releases and all of it in high zoot SACDs.
In the beginning they were nearly the house band at the Chateau Liberte in the Santa Cruz mountains....They pretty much played alternate weekends with the Doobie Brothers playing the other weekends....
