A question about the PWD and bridge...

I have a Mac Pro running OSX Leopard 10.5.7 Server, right now it is plugged into a benchmark DAC1 via USB and then off to my pre-amp. I use iTunes on it as I would any other computer, select the songs from the computer, or my iPhone with the remote app, etc.. My question is this, using the bridge with the PWD will I be able to move my server into a different room without causing major disruption, or a need to re rip all my music in a file system the bridge can read, etc.. basically, will I be able to keep my music where it is, and how it is organized in iTunes, in a different room, and access it from the PWD/bridge? Happiness is a clean record, and warm tubes!
