How is the tracking of the laser on different surfaces?

I did go to log on to my user account this morning though and the mouse had lost connection. I had to pull out the ol' USB mouse to get it working again. That is not cool, hopefully it was a one time thing.

The coolest thing about the mouse is the two finger swipe to go forward or back a page in safari. No more keeping the other hand on the backspace button.

OMG only you Mac guys have to deal with the second hand on the keyboard BS. We have had mouses in the world with dedicated back/forward buttons ergonomically placed on the mouse for years now. We don't have to do stupid double finger acrobatics to go back and forward. Besides, get with the program and use Firefox with mouse gestures.

Wow you don't have to be such a jerk about it, posted on November 9, 2009 at 16:06:55

I know that there are other mouses with lots of buttons on them. The Apple mouse is way cooler, looks better and feels better than any PC stuff I've seen. Just like the computers. I'd never touch a PC ever again with all the problems and crashes/viruses I've had.

Enjoy your PC!!!

How I keep the bluetooth connection w. mighty mouse, posted on November 8, 2009 at 06:34:53

ejlif,

I have the Mighty Mouse. It tracks very poorly unless I use it on a black surface. Not sure why. I hope the Magic Mouse is better. My Logitech VX Nano is amazing. I can literally use it on my body perfectly or on my head. It tracks amazing. The Mighty Mouse is useless on anything but black.

I reconfigured all my buttons on my mighty mouse w. Steermouse. You can do program specific programming for every mouse button and set sensitivity etc. I plan on buying the Magic Mouse in the future though. I hate the tiny little ball for scrolling on the mighty mouse. I just won't use a USB dongle on my Apple computers. Ruins the ergonomics. The Steermouse program will be great for use with your old USB if ever needed. Try the free trial.

For blue tooth problems (no guarantee but helped a lot). Go to bluetooth settings in preferences and choose the mouse. Select more info. Then use the action wheel and choose add to favorites. Should help a lot with the connectivity. Found this on a forum elsewhere.
