WyWires teams with VMPS and Atmasphere for Napua Davoy Live/Playback Event @ CES
LOS ANGELES, California - September 16, 2010 - WyWires, cult producer of hand-made high-end audio interfaces, announces a partnership as the exclusive cable interface for VMPS Loudspeakers and Atma-Sphere Amplifiers during THE SHOW/CES, January 6th through 9th, 2011.
"We are honored to have been invited by Brian Cheney of VMPS to be the exclusive interface for THE SHOW at the upcoming CES. We'll be providing all interconnects, speaker cables and power cords for Napua Davoy's live vs. recorded performance," says Alex Sventitsky, Founder and Chief Engineer of WyWires, LLC.
Jazz singer and vocalist Napua Davoy is the featured performer with an ensemble including sax, flute, clarinet, acoustic bass, grand piano, latin percussion, classical percussion, bass drum, and full drumkit. The live-vs-recorded demonstration intends to prove that the best modern high-end gear can generate sound virtually indistinguishable from live. The demo is scheduled daily at 1 pm in the Virginia Ballroom 1, at the Flamingo in Las Vegas.
Per Sventitsky, "when Brian approached me, I thought it was the ultimate opportunity to prove to audiophiles and stakeholders in the industry what our mission is - to deliver sound as close to the live performance as possible, whether studio or on stage. It's the reason I started this company and the care that goes into every single cable we build. I cannot wait to put WyWires engineering into this project."
This is the 3rd year in a row that VMPS has brought the live-vs-recorded demo to CES.
WyWires' product line is a truly revolutionary departure from industry norms - even for cables in stratospheric price ranges.
The company produces a full line of cables - interconnects, phono, CD and speaker cables, and power cords - all with WyWires hand-crafted and proprietary wire formula.
Line level interconnect cables come in two "flavors" - Honey and Hot Sauce. Honey smoothes the rough edges and reduces annoying sibilance; Hot Sauce produces stronger textures and leading edges - perfect for vintage tube gear.
All WyWires products provide greater retrieval of musical detail, a heightened sense of realism and eliminate listening fatigue with a natural, organic presentation.
WyWires cables have virtually no shielding, and are made with a proprietary Litz wire formula - not pre-manufactured wire made in China. All components are made in the USA, Canada or the EU - and cable crafting is done locally in Los Angeles. Each cable is tested before it goes out to the customer and no sale is made until a consultation session is completed. The company offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee.
WyWires products are available for purchase on a factory direct basis as a global distributor/dealer network is being built.
