autumn has arrived in boston. and with autumn comes the incredible burst of color of falling leaves. give a listen to 'trane, wynton kelly and stan getz. this is pure perfection. enjoy.

I think I'll put that on the playlist for tonights DJ gig. It pays cheap beer and potentially loose women. But hell its better than doing nothing.

How about Autumn Leaves by Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, Hank Jones, etc. from Somethin' Else?

A few years ago Hank Jones recorded a trio version. It's really one of the best versions out there, on the album "Autumn Leaves."

One of MD's strengths was his choices in piano players (Red Garland,
Wynton Kelly, Bill Evans, Hank Jones, John Lewis). I
maintain that it was these gentlemen who made MD's better recordings
so good.
