I have a pair of Quad USA Monitors coming in and am looking for a pair of Quad's "Stand and Deliver" metal stands for them. If you have a pair in decent shape you would like to get rid of, or any suggestions where I might look for a pair, I would be grateful to hear from you.

Many thanks,

George Roland

George,
I'd check with Kent at Electrostatic solutions to see if he has any leads. i used a home made variant for a while. They get the speakers to an appropriate listening height. I found the Arcici stands to be a better match. You might also try QS&D.

Be sure to ask Kent what he thinks about the Arcici Quad Destroyers.

The absolute best stand available, IMO, is the Mye Stand.

Thanks for the tip.

Kent is finishing working on a few updates for my USA Monitors, and I already checked with him, Wayne Piquet and Sheldon Stokes, and none have a pair of Quad stands available.
I will support then on something homemade if stands do not become available for awhile.

Thanks for your suggestions. I am not a fan of, and have written about the problems with the Arcici stands here and elsewhere.

Are Mye stands for ESL-63s available or are they another out-of-production product I would have to locate in the used market? What do you like about them?

Grant lists stands for the 57s and 988, but he will build stands for the 63, which is basically the same configuration as the 988.

He built me a pair of stands for the 63s that place the speaker higher in the stand than stock so that the center of the speaker is at ear level.

Basic price as I remember is $650 including shipping, but you should go to Myesound.com and contact them directly.

Grant will explain the measurements he needs. Mine worked perfectly right out of the boxes.

Another option for Quad 63 stands are those that were made by Crosby. They look just like the Gradient woofer and the speaker sits on them at the desired height. Unfortunately, Crosby is no longer in business but they do come up on the used market. I have a set for my 63's. Mike
