I have a pair of Tympani 1D that I have bi-amped through an active crossover with twin powered subs. Recently I discovered an online version of the owner's manual and it shows a wiring diagram different than the way I am presently wired. Could some one here tell me the proper connections and placement of jumpers?

What crossover frequencies are you using in your T-1D setup? Is the T-1D woofer panel operated down to its lower limits or are you rolling off the bass into the woofer panel using the sub's internal crossover? What amplification are your using?

Hi Tim,

Someone sent me a couple of emails last year with T-1D wiring and XO schematics. If you'd like to PM me your email address, I'll send them on to you.

Regards,

Andy

First there are early and late 1Ds. The early ones have screw terminals and the late ones have banana jacks. If you are bi-amping the 1Ds you don't use any jumpers. The early ones show tweeter + and - and mid/bass + and - and the late ones show a schematic of the drivers + and - crossover and jumpers. In either you just connect the tweeter amp to the + and - tweeter terminals and the low frequency amp to the + and -mid/bass terminals.
