It's time....the last big game...'Bama & Clemson!

I was rooting for Clemson but when Alabama took the ball with just over 4 minutes after Clemson took the lead and didn't just run the ball I knew they would lose. Why? The coordinator tried to win via the pass. Alabama passing game pretty much sucked the whole game. The first two plays were futile and stopped the clock. Then they got that lucky third down floater to within a yard of a first then ran the ball on fourth for the first.

They had another up for grabs completion but their running game averaged 6.5 yards per carry for the game! Clemson only 2.2 yards per rush. How stupid not to justrun the ball down the field like he Steelers did against the Dolphins last week. It would have used up the last four minutes. You go 14-32 passing and average 6.5 per rush on only 34 carries and you pass on the dive to win the game? Total coaching fail. Even with Clemson's pathetic 2.2 per carry they ran the ball 42 times! Alabama only had 155 yards passing with a lame 4.8 per pass attempt! When's the last time a team averaged less per pass than per run?

The rest is history Clemson got the ball with plenty of time not even needing to use their time outs. They schooled Alabama's worn out D who have up most 100 total offensive plays over 25 more than in any other game this year. Clemsn too HD a couple of lucky catches. Congrats to Clemson. Fun game to watch after the two previous playoff games were blowouts
