Why do I have to wake up to a Shakespeare tragedy?

Kitchen drain and the Common Man

Or is it a Woody Allen movie?

I don't want to go to the hardware store! I'm too blitzed from a night with herbs and paper destruction by fire.

Damn...and my buddy does this every weekend?

Assuming your pipes will take it, pour a large pot of boiling water down the drain. That will usually dissolve any built-up grease. If the problem is not just grease (i.e. it's a mix of grease, hair, and vegetable matter) then you may need more than the water. But it's worth a try.

Mike is supposed to dump it over the head of the dipshit lovely family member that poured the grease down the drain.

I would say that pouring grease down one of the sink drains is just asking for trouble, and more so than for those of us who have "proper" DWV systems.

So, who do I have to slap upside the head in a couple weeks?

I pour the grease into a pot and save it for rubbing on trees so bears won't climb it. Then I can wrestle with them and the winner gets a rug for their fireplace...so far I have 247 rugs, the bears have none.

Some say that power spraying the bear with chloroform from a helicopter before the match is not fair...but did you ever see the nails on those *uckers?
