The color of her head doesn't quite match the rest of her, and most of her costume looks like a paint job, but in a flat, 2-D kind of way. Interesting, but fake looking.

Unless a female spent all of her working day without wearing clothes, I would regard a difference in colouring between head and body to be routinely expected... :o)

I'd bet that your own head has different colouring to your chest and arms, etc., assuming that you do not spend your working days bare-chested... :o)

As for whether paint has been applied or not, I (and no doubt others) would remain perfectly happy to be in close company with any unpainted equivalent... :o)

Just relax, and take your place in the queue... :o)

I suggest that you limit any personal tension and irritation you might feel at quite how long you may be waiting by reflecting on the natural justice of the "first come, first served" principle, and the entirely reasoned approach of folk ahead of you adopting the viewpoint of, "I let others worry about what opportunities they might be missing by being tardy and inattentive"... :o)

Hopefully, any lengthy delays you may experience might not be of quite such duration that you feel compelled to actually go to sleep whilst waiting... :o)

If memory serves, the purpose of the bat pole was to enter the bat cave was it not? …, posted on October 30, 2009 at 16:05:14

Unless you're going to be wearing underwear with a steel plate in the back while waiting your turn.

You, sir, are one trusting (or perhaps naive) man!

This is the pleasant "Central" to which you refer, rather than the dysfunctional WC forum,... :o), posted on October 30, 2009 at 15:26:24

though even when in the potentially hostile waters of Water Cooler correspondence I find myself following the "Granny Weatherwax"-style approach of adopting the quiet certainty that there would be little probability of meeting any more daunting challenge than I myself would be able to provide... :o)

My mind went in a rather, shall we say, "overly risque" direction there, and now I feel the need for some "mental image brain cleanser".....

In your case, perhaps attempting a searching objective assessment of just how far now aged vinyl recordings - with their individual history possibly including many years of being subjected to worn "groove grinder" cartridges and needles, careless handling by children or teenagers, occasional doses of spilt sugary coffee and/or preserves, etc. - may be expected to be able to deliver an acceptable amount of the audio information originally available from the inherently limited technology inherent in audio "pressings", such an assessment just might be effective in "altering your focus"... :o)

You've got to admit that I often take whatever opportunity presents itself to provoke Bagsy to outraged response, but so far with no notable success... :o)
