Hi Mike,
Sorry to bother you with this kind of thing, but you have been a big help in the past with the vintage Altec.
I have a few small transformers with the very old Altec logo in red, from the Hollywood days.
On a chassis, I have a small square shaped Altec ta(?)-301 along with a Langevin 404a and another Altec transformer which has "output" penciled on it, but the Altec label is worn and the model number is gone. It is the largest transformer of the four I have and is square shaped. The chassis has three 6J7 tubes. Just wondering if the equipment sounds familiar or if you have info on the 301. I also have a ta-305s and a ta-311s. These last two are the size of input trannys and are cylindrical shaped.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Hello. The TA numbers are very, very early--- and we may not have that data--- our collection is pretty complete from 1948 on--- but much more scarce for part numbers built prior to 1948.

The TA numbers you mention seem to fall into that category--- I doubt that we have the folders for these. Give me some time to dig through the archives and I will try to get back to you with an even moreso definitive answer.

Thanks Mike, you have always been very helpful. I'll keep my fingers crossed. By the way, I'm going to be in Philly at the very end of the year for the Mummer's Parade, do you allow visitors at the shop? I'd be interested in having a peak!
All the best,
Anthony
