Hi Mike, Sorry to bother you with this kind of thing, but you have been a big help in the past with the vintage Altec. I have a few small transformers with the very old Altec logo in red, from the Hollywood days. On a chassis, I have a small square shaped Altec ta(?)-301 along with a Langevin 404a and another Altec transformer which has "output" penciled on it, but the Altec label is worn and the model number is gone. It is the largest transformer of the four I have and is square shaped. The chassis has three 6J7 tubes. Just wondering if the equipment sounds familiar or if you have info on the 301. I also have a ta-305s and a ta-311s. These last two are the size of input trannys and are cylindrical shaped. Any help is very much appreciated. "I KNOW you can hear it, but are you REALLY listening?" |
