Yes, this choke was prompted by Thomas Meyer who needed more inductance than the smaller LL1694 was capable of.

Awesome. Those look cool! Just the thing for Uber DC fil supplies. Thomas is working on a big monster amp I helped him source the tubes for. cant' wait to see how it turns out. I know he's using Lundahl outputs in Parafeed at least initially, I think.

Hi!

yes I urged Per to make these chokes and used them a lot already in various 801A amps and preamps and currently in a 211.

They won't do it as filament chokes for my big coming amps though. I had to get some custom chokes fot those.

I also asked per why he doesn't make a plate choke on the larger core (1638 size) with higher current capability
