 I have single ended tube amp being fed from a balanced line stage. I intend on adding a LL1544A for balanced-to-unbalanced conversion. Since the output transformers on the SE amp are a bit undersized (on purpose), I plan on bussing the input signal to an active subwoofer and using the low-pass on the sub amp to attenuate everything about 80Hz. The input to the SE Amp drives the grid of a 5842 input tube (see schematic) My question is how best to implement the LL1544A for such a purpose and whether I should also use passive input filtering on the SE Amp.
