Is W60D considered desirable? 12" woofer, condition unknown but supposedly works, $100?

The W60D is a very nice loudspeaker. I remember them from way back. They were a bit pricey for me in those days, so I never owned one, but I sure liked them.

Do you know if they can be upgraded with normal cap swap out or do they have weird stuff in the x-overs?


 

You can swap caps easily, but the originals that I have seen have oil caps. nt, posted on October 31, 2013 at 08:48:06

The caps in my W90's still work fine.

The mids have had work but it seems I've seen other very similar pics ... a "user" repair that people did?

What do you think?
