Did something stupid bought a pair for reasons I might never understand. Almost all drivers toast, but that's for another day.

They're basically slightly different footprint khorns but I can't find enough to know Quite how best to get them apart and am hoping someone else can pipe-up with a steer to construction details.

Specifically, the bottoms got Really wet (too wet) and it's bad. Not sure they're salvageable but I was a sucker with a wish on a basshorn-star today ;)

I guess two basic inquiries--if you had to blow-out the bottom of your G600, is it glued and cleated and screwed from the inside or ???

Second, I _think_ (boxed-in by horn & cane grille) it has that ~200 Hz 1/2" plywood horn with that weird "tube" driver firing backwards (and and 848 and a t350 (?) sitting inside). one of those "tube" drivers is toast. Does that top horn separate somehow in a reversible way or is this a one-way deal after which I construct a new 200Hz horn?

I'll take anything anyone can share with Much gratitude.

Ive got plans for building the Georgian KD which I assume is the same design bass horn but without a cabinet. Mid/HF horns are just mounted on top so I cant help with the top of the box.

The plans state that this is a smaller version of the Patrician. You can download a similar diy build guide at the below link. Not sure if the 600 has an extra bottom plate as part of the cabinet or if its actually part of the horn cavity. May be a chisel and pry job.

I may have scanned images somewhere if that helps.

Thank you so much amt.

My solution today was to buy some 9% russian Imperial (why is it always/only Imperial?) stout and to repeat that, with $2k and 2k hours, these are good bottoms for Tom's (gawd Thank You!) Synergy Horns.
