As my only speakers for 30+ years were khorns, and they needed neither positioning nor stands, I am faced with questions I never had to answer before, such as, what speaker stand to use for a Tekton speaker, and where in a smallish room they would go best? I assume stands are important, you wouldn't want them to sway about -- assuming they generate that kind of kinetic energy -- and they need to be a proper height for sound dispersion. I know that whole treatise have been written for placement, and they all start with the assumption that you have a good room to start with. I'll have a crappy room to start with, so I may be dead in the water from the get-go. |

not floorstanders. Although someone mentioned a variant that I might be able to make given rudimentary woodworking skills (my woodworking skills extend to licking envelopes). Madisound folded horn kit Once I was done with it, it would look like something out of a Three Stooges movie. |
