I used to hang out over there (online).

There were numerous reports from people that heard them, mostly along the lines of "most incredible imaging I've heard". Probably not unbiased comments but no particular reason for a strong bias either.

Apparently extremely difficult to build with very difficult angles involved, is it something you'd take on or have someone do?

It appears that they sell the cabinets as well. I wonder how they would compare with Klipschorns....

Wow, that's recent AFAIK that he is offering assembled pairs. I know for a fact that some of the people that heard them owned Klipschhorns, and were utterly blown away by the Decwares. They would not be as efficient of course, limited to the driver used but with a Lowther I suppose you'd be able to get pretty close to 100db/1w/1m.

Supposedly one of the things that made the imaging so impressive was the lack of wall between the speakers(with an entryway to another room between) but I suspect it would be pretty close in a conventional room as well.

You might try to get in touch with Eddie Vaughn of Vaughn audio, he heard them while owning Klipschorns and might be able to give you an accurate impression.

About 10 years ago, a client asked me to examine a decware corner horn. It is essentially a short conical horn that reaches a peak above 100Hz. The amp/EQ circuit cuts off the top end response and boosts the bottom end. As a sub it works but with some distortion, although probably not anymore than some vented boom box subs. The Decware horn did have one unusual feature. You could feel an air rush at the mouth with a bass pulse. I could stick my hand in and sense the air rush with the hair on the back of my hand. The air rush seemed to be located at a point near the mouth where the walls pinched inward. If I moved my hand back further into the horn, the air rush was not present. I theorized that the pinch in caused a compression of the waveform, simmilar to the "Candle Connon" featured on You Tube.

These are the ones I am talking about. Are these the ones you are talking about?

They are supposed to be a full range.
