In case you are familiar with it, the upper deck at the Powerhouse holds less than 100, the view of the river is great, the show is straight after the fireworks, and the weather is looking to be pretty warm, it should be a great night.

Sorry Dave - I have been very slack WRT Brisbane Festival this year. If Kate (my GF) does not buy tickets and organise me I don't seem to get to live music at all! Time to get my at act together on that front, I think. VDP does not, on first blush, seem to be my kind of thing, but I am up for a new musical experience. I will see if there are any tickets left (I doubt it tho).

I did get out to see Aimee Mann at the Powerhouse on Thurs night. I really liked the seemingly uncontrived, understated show - she just seems relaxed and to want to play for people. Lovely.
