It's very much a one off as it's his only Australian show.
It seems to be a solo event (no mention of others) and tickets are on sale now.

from Powerhouse website:

Over a career that has spanned 5 decades, Van Dyke Parks has been working as an arranger and songwriter creating elaborate solo works and helping to arrange countless classic records from more artists than can be mentioned here. His work is iconoclastic and uncompromising - a visionary of esoteric pop purity Parks' music typifies the very essence of pop songwriting.

As part of Brisbane Festival Van Dyke Parks delivers his only Australian concert - an intimate and exclusive evening that showcases his solo work including the legendary Song Cycle album, amongst others. A truly rare and visionary evening of song from one of the 20th Centuries most important and inventive musicians.

I am currently looking at the festival programme to see what we may get to. Last year was great and this year looks pretty decent also. Heaps at the S' Tent I would like to check out.

Cheers

I have no idea how that will co-ordinate but it might be fun to have some sound effects if he wanted to do some of the stuff from Song Cycle.
