I bought Franks V200 recently to run my HD800's.

It's a wonderful combination. Lots of power, dynamics, bass. Great combination for rock, big classical music, soundtracks.

It's a very quiet amp and excellent soundstage. And I have to mention the volume pot - very smooth, very stable. You can set the gain via switches on the back so you get just the range on the pot you want. Very nice feature, everyone should do that.

I have a tube amp (Sound Quest SQ84 V2) that is also great on the HD800's. I'll do a compare in a month or two. For now I'm just really enjoying the V200.

Glad you like the amp Mike it also does well with a balanced source. I used the Oppo BDP95 balanced with the HD800 single ended very nice sound for sure.
