Does anyone know the format of the digital output of a Micromega Stage 4? And do you have to trigger the digital output in any way?
Also, a quick question: if your player is stopped and you push the bottom left button, you can choose between "OF DOBN" and "ON DOBN". I really do not know what this is about, the manual does not mention it.

I had the stage 3 back in '04 but can't seem to remember the Dobin, but somehow the display info comes to my mind. I may be wrong though.

This I know in general about these players:
All the Micromega's were 1 bit dac players. Too bad.
stage 4 is an upgraded stage 1
stage 5 is an upgraded stage 2
stage 6 is an upgraded stage 3
The 3 and 6 were there best players. They were all very smooth and lacking in detail, but had a nice euphoric sound.

Sorry I'm not much help.

DOBN On/Off is the digital output on/off.
