 Anyone else here using one of these? Was wondering about upgrades for it and want to learn what others may have done.

 I have a Sony with the 'lampizator' mods and it's brilliant - your CD3 is a perfect base for the same mods.

Edit; if you're in the UK I know a guy to do the full mods for around £200 + parts.

Today is a gift - that's why it's called the Present.
