I have the latest new Prima CD player, bought it used. However, just recently the player just suddenly stop reading all my cds. I believe it has the Sony cd drive. I really like this player compared to what I had before, so, I would like to fix it. I would like to know where I can send it to be repaired ?

Thanks.

Drop the folks at Audio Federation a call. Good people, and Audio Aero dealers/enthusiasts....

IMO, always ask this question before buying used--NT, posted on October 26, 2009 at 07:19:03

First, I would unplug the player for a minute and plug it back in. Sometimes that works. I have no idea why. I believe that Signature Sound is an Audio Aero dealer. Might be worth a call.

I may be able to help the gentleman out (I'm Signature Sound), I do have some (few) spare parts (including a transport) on hand for recent Audio Aero Prima CD player...

A note to Audio Aero owners... the US/Can distributor (Globe Audio) is no longer around and (as far as I know) there is no current distributor for Audio Aero in USA/Can. Also, I have not been able to reach (get a e-mail replied to) Audio Aero for awhile... which has me conerned.

Happy Listening,

Just went to their website (after posting above) and it's down. Don't know if they even still exist.

Do a Google Search of Audio Aero dealers. I tried it, I didn't take the time to do any search but there is a 'chat room' sponserd by Polk Audio. There was some guys taking about their Audio Aero. Maybe you can find out from that website where an Audio Aero is.
Actually, there is a dealer in Seattle that sells Audio Aero, he might know how to get service for it. That's why I asked if the poster lived in a big city.

Check the yellow pages of you telephone directory. Search for electronic repair. I'm sure the Audio Aero isn't so exotic that a regular shop that repairs CD players can't do it. If you live in a large city, there may be a dealer that handles Audio Aero and probably have their own repair shop.

I live near Fresno, CA. I am not sure there is one here. I could probably get someone to repair it in the Bay area.
